Synopsis:
Emile Bustani was one of the most outstanding men in the history of Lebanon. This
documentary sheds light on his life, his political involvement in Lebanon and the Arab World,
his entrepreneurial spirit and how his contracting company C.A.T spread from West Africa
to Pakistan. His life is described through the words of those who knew him as a man
of many laughs, a kind heart, great charisma and dynamism. He worked relentlessly for the
understanding between the West and the Arab World. Bustani was elected a Member of Parliament in Lebanon in 1951, an office he held until his death in 1963.
On the 15th of March 1963, Bustani died in his own airplane, crashing into the sea off Beirut harbour.
